A Keynote & Leadership Development Program for Fraternity &

A logo symbolizing transformation and fraternity values.

SUMMARY & INSTITUTIONAL VALUE PROPOSITION

In today's higher education landscape, university leadership and Student Affairs professionals face complex challenges regarding student retention, mental well-being, and community trust.

While fraternity and sorority members proudly wear their letters, a widespread challenge remains:

bridging the gap between passive membership and active embodiment of core organizational values.

By reconnecting with universal Greek life pillars of Faith, Hope, and Love, Eric equips student leaders with practical tools for fostering high-trust environments, building strong members, developing resilient leaders who transform their chapters into experiences where members don't just endure, but truly thrive, and ultimately achieving a culture that creates life-long belonging.

“Living Your Letters” is a premier leadership development program designed to transform chapter culture from the inside. This program inspires students to take genuine ownership of their brotherhood and sisterhood through authentic connection, psychological safety, and operational excellence.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Eric C. Waskiewicz, MSODL, E. Ed., combines corporate strategic experience, adult learning principles, and authentic student leadership history to relevantly connect with undergraduate audiences in a way few speakers can.

After years of childhood adversity, Eric entered college searching for safety, direction, and belonging. Joining Greek life at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University revealed the power of authentic community and mutual support, allowing him to and transform his life. As an undergraduate, he served across every level of chapter and council governance, including Chapter President, Recruitment Chair, Fraternity Educator, Ritualist, and Interfraternity Council (IFC) President, giving him a sense of purpose in a life that was devoid of one.

Professionally, Eric is an organizational strategist who has advised over 250 organizations on healthy workplace culture, team dynamics, and operational integration. He holds two Master's degrees from Saint Joseph's University and an undergraduate degree from Towson University.

He currently serves as an Alumni Advisor at the University of Maryland (College Park), and a Lambda Chi Alpha national facilitator and keynote for student leadership summits.  Today, Eric travels to campuses nationwide, delivering a dynamic, humorous, and deeply moving message: “we don’t just wear our letters on our Chests. We must earn the right to do so by living in a manner that is consistent with what those letters mean.”

Underlying Eric’s trauma survival narrative is a crucial universal truth:

“You never know who is fighting an internal battle just to stay in the room.”

By reframing hazing and high-risk behaviors as added burdens on vulnerable students, the program challenges members to become lifelines rather than liabilities.

A subtle, yet, stark warning about hazing and behaviors that promote hazing culture:

He advocates that members should

“not be another burden on them.”
